章節 24: CHAPTER TWENTY FOUR:THE EXPECTED VISIT

Avianna is still standing at the same spot in Gustavo's office for some time thinking of what to do after Gu has dropped the bombshell about Jason, making her realize Jason's real plans.

He never had the intention of letting her go even after she made it clear to him that she was never going to accept him back again, but she wondered what changed his mind though and how exactly he ended things with Christie.

She got curious though.

All the while Avianna dated Jason she has always known that Jason's parents were rich just like her own parents but it never really bothered her to meet with them not even for once, she only heard about them from Jason.

But why didn't she figure it out before now? The easy access to get her and Christie into auditions even without them signing for one, everything about Jason's was now making sense to her.

Avianna turned to Gustavo who was staring at her while waiting for her response knowing that she was shocked about what he just told her about Jason's parents.

"I need to go somewhere" Anna said with no emotion in her voice, not even giving Gu the chance to speak before leaving his office.

Meeting Stacy at the hallway gasping for breath typically due to exertion as a result of running away from the foolish reporters outside.

How much she hates those reporters.

"What is the situation outside like" Anna asked Stacy hoping to get an encouraging response from her.

"Very bad Anna I don't think you will be able to bypass them right now so I suggest we go back inside until they get tired and leave" Stacy replied.

"I don't have the whole time in the world. Stacy is urgent. I need to leave and in case you haven't heard or noticed Christie is in the country so I need to get out of here as soon as possible before she causes more damage" Anna explained.

Avianna had mentioned her relationship with Jason and Christie to Stacy but didn't tell her the full story so as not to look like the bad one, so Stacy understood the part that Christie was in the country as Avianna's enemy is in the country.

"Wait, was she the one in the picture that is trending now?" Stacy asked anxiously which Anna responded by nodding her head as a yes to her question.

"And you think she is the one behind the scandal too" Stacy asked again, figuring out the whole scenario.

"Stop with all these useless questions of yours Stacy and find me a way to get out of here" Anna almost yelled.

"Ok fine but we need something to distract them with because these reporters are not ready to move an inch out of that place without getting something to write on" Stacy explain.

"I think I have an idea" Anna said after some minutes of silence "follow me" She ordered while grinning at Stacy.

Avianna went into the ladies restroom with Stacy with the crazy idea of hers, forcing Stacy to change clothes with her and switch places. Using the scarf she had on earlier to wrap around Stacy's face to make sure that nobody sees her face and also giving her the black shades to put on.

Stacy never bought the idea of going through all this trouble and stress but she had no choice cause Anna is her boss and it would cause her to lose her job if Anna ever gets hurt so she had to follow her rules which was final.

Avianna put a call through the security department of their company demanding for escorts which was honored immediately after all she was the company's golden girl so her safety should be their priority.

Avianna and Stacy came out of the restroom to meet six hefty men in black suits waiting outside with confused expressions on their face as to why Stacy was disguised as Avianna; however they dare not ask her questions as their duty was to follow and obey her orders.

Avianna smiled widely at them not minding what t might be going on in their minds.

"Escort Stacy out of here safely to the car and make sure she doesn't get noticed by the reporters and my driver will take it up from there" Anna commanded.

"Stacy, make sure you back my glasses in one piece, you know how costly it is" She added as she followed shortly after they left.

As expected all the reporters rushed to Stacy immediately they got the sight of her thinking it was Avianna while the security men played along as they pushed away the reporters to make way for Stacy to pass through.

"These old fools never get tired" Anna hissed, referring to the reporters as most of them had aged a bit while she made her way out of the company.

Avianna stopped a taxi and gave him the location of where she was going as they zoomed off.

Thirty minutes to the drive Anna was stopped at a hotel where Christie was staying.

She went inside and straight to the receptionist to ask for Christie's room number with the claims that she was her friend which they bought immediately as they did not hesitate in giving her the room number and also considering the fact that she was a celebrity.

Avianna went up to the supposed room Christie was staying and knocked on the door. After some seconds of waiting with no response she was going to knock again when the door was opened with Christie in front of her.

"You finally came,I have been expecting you" Christie uttered sarcastically, opening the door wide for Avianna to come in.

"I expected to see more than this T, staying in a hotel? That is so unwise of you I guess that is all you've got"Anna sassed back standing with her hands folded against her chest as she made her way into the room.

"Is just a matter of time Anna and I will get to take back everything you stole from me and expose you so maybe by then I won't have to stay in a hotel"

"Oh please shut up Christie you are not perfect yourself and I get what you are trying to do, but I am not scared of you babygirl I never have been"Anna said.

"That is really brave of you Anna, but let's see how much more you will last by the time I am done with you" Christie announced.
