Agatha walked along the eerily deserted streets, the once familiar scenery of the City-State now infused with a silent and odd atmosphere. It seemed as though a pair of prying eyes hid behind the shadows of the buildings and the tightly closed doors and windows.
She was searching for an exit from this "foreign land," or for the culprit responsible for her being trapped here.
Every incongruous spot could be a rift intertwining with the real world, but so far, she had not found such a crack in the mysterious "Frost City-State."
There was one thing she was sure of, she had touched the shadows that had always shrouded the City-State, whether by accident or by the deliberate act of the mastermind behind the scenes, she had successfully crossed that "barrier" that always obstructed her view.
This place that was both similar to and distinct from Frost must certainly be the source of the strange occurrences that had been happening in the City-State recently.
