The maid shouted with fear, alerting the guard who was protecting the queen.

The guard barged through the door, seeing a queen who was in terrible shape. Her face was swollen and she was barely breathing.
" Summon the king! The queen has been poisoned. Seal the gates!"
The guard ordered the knights to shut the doors and bring the king. The knights ran out with their all might, alerting other personnel in the palace. The servants kept their breath as they watched their queen suffer with agony.
The pain of the queen made their hearts bleed with despair, making them shed tears for their queen.

The door was destroyed from the outside as the highest leaders of the country came with haste. The king saw his queen, dying on the bed in agony, and cried out with anger.
" What is the meaning of this? Who did this? Jenna, wake up, my love!"
He cried despite the ministers standing next to him. His white hand reached out for his queen, but she was barely breathing. The dots from the poison were revealed in front of him, making him even madder.
" Cousin!"
He summoned his only trustworthy general next to him. The woman came next to him, kneeling on her knees while handing her head down with guilt.
Her heart was being torn apart by the mere sight of the queen whom she had known for a long time.
" Find the cure for her. Also, the culprit must be found after her recovery. I will personally tear him apart."
His eyes shed blood tears, scaring the ministers who were standing behind them. They saw the lunacy of the king for the first time. He was in no shape to rule the country, but no one dared to confront him, fearing he would behead them on the spot. The drums of war had started in this moment.
