Greia saw the badge on Licht's chest with an interested expression. She knew Licht would be around 17 or 18 which was an ideal type of her daughter who had always fantasized about her future spouse.
" Interesting."
She said while changing her direction. She pulled her reins and headed towards them quickly since there was a group of trolls nearby.
Cynthia and Leah were glad to see their well-being because they felt guilty when they left them on that ice. Although Cynthia was a mage, she was a light mage. Her ice magic wasn't that good enough to mend the ice under their feet.
" Hyla!"
Greia shouted with a ferocious smile. She dashed towards them with incredible speed even though the yak was loaded with 3 people.
" Burr!"
The yak stopped before them as it licked Lisha's face. Honestly, he liked Lisha because she always fed him, not Greia who was his owner.
Lisha giggled when she was licked by the yak. She wasn't disgusted by its behavior since the yaks loved the kind people who loved them. Besides, the northern people loved these creatures.
" Where is your yak?"
Greia said with a light tone. She recalled that Lisha had a yak when she left the settlement to find out about their new ally.
" I commanded it to go back. She should be in her fence."
Lisha said while stroking the head of the yak. Its eyes turned crescent as it enjoyed the caress of her.
" Hmm, then hop up. I see you have a new friend."
Greia smiled, extending her hand. Lisha nodded with a bright expression and grabbed her hand.
Pulls up*
Greia threw them back off the yak and turned him around to the settlement. Fortunately, the yak didn't whine like before because he liked Lisha and Licht. He felt intimate with this new human boy for an unknown reason.
" Hmm, he likes you."
Greia burst into laughter as she hit Licht's chest. Licht almost vomited under her super strength as he forcefully held back. His expression turned green since he felt awkward on the yak.
" Motion sickness? You younglings had a lot of trouble. But I have to say, you are the strongest child I have ever seen. Furthermore, are you hiding something from me?"
Greia spoke with a light tone. However, Licht could feel hidden curiosity and intent in her words. She was asking him how he had the power of iceborns. He was sure that Greia had felt his power when they met.
" I have never ridden a yak before it is quite uncomfortable compared to a horse or a car."
Licht said with honesty. The yak was warm and big, but somehow it was quite uncomfortable to ride these creatures due to their sheer body size. Additionally, there was no flat road so he had no choice but to be patient on this bumpy road.
" Ah, I forgot about that. You are right. You southerners love comfortable rides. However, in the north, we rarely ride a horse since this place is covered in ice almost through a year."
Greia said with an understanding look. She was also experienced with their technology. Honestly, she was fascinated with their improved lifestyle, but the north doesn't have such a nice climate. Therefore, she reluctantly gave up the idea of a new scientific era.
" By the way lady, do you know Lisha?"
Cynthia asked with a hinge of inquisitiveness. She noticed the relationship between Lisha and Greia.
" Ah, she is my mother aka Berserker of North. Her ice power is feared everywhere since she killed the notorious general of Drakon kingdom."
Lisha explained with a proud expression. She was proud of her mother who was known throughout the world for her strength.
" Wow, my father talked a lot about you. He said you were the strongest woman he have ever met."
Cynthia shouted with reverence in her eyes. Obviously, this attracted Greia's attention because there were a few who managed to survive her attack. None of them was simple individuals, they were all masters in their respective fields.
" Oh, who is your father again?"
Greia spoke with a calm voice. She guessed a few masters since there weren't that many people with blonde hair.
" My father is the master of Windsor fortress. He said your axe almost shattered his sword."
