The wolf approached them calmly with a little curiosity in his eyes. He was observing both Licht and Mikael. Particularly, he was interested in Licht who felt so familiar to him.

He swiftly came next to them as he reached out his paw. Mikael groaned and fell to his knees due to the sheer frost power of the wolf. Although Mikael was a strong person, his power was the wind. Hence, he had a massive disadvantage against fire and ice elements.
Mikael understood this wolf wasn't a simple frost wolf by its look. Probably, it was a cub of the alpha wolf or maybe even the wolf king. He trembled as he grabbed his bow and aimed at him. However, he lowered his bow when he saw his eyes off him.
He wasn't harboring any ill intentions toward them. Especially, he wasn't trying that hard.
Licht who was vigilant heard Viktor's voice inside his head. He was telling him to drop his weapon because it wasn't trying to kill them, instead, it was observing them.
The wolf raised his snow-white head and looked at Licht's eyes.
" Human, have we met before? Why do I feel so intimate with you?"
Licht was shocked to hear his voice. It was like Viktor's voice, but he wasn't using a soul link, he was using telepathy. Moreover, this wolf was an intelligent being. That means this wolf could see through their power.
Licht answered back with a calm tone.
" I haven't met you before. What is the purpose?"
The wolf tilted its head with confusion. He was attempting to find out about him. The wolf attentively looked at him. He thought that maybe it was Licht's right, but even so, he couldn't deny other possibilities.
The wolf once again raised its paw and pressed on Licht's foot.
Kacha*
A cube of huge ice was formed around his foot while Licht grimaced with pain. The wolf spoke in his mind again with a light voice.
" We will meet again, human. Take this gift from me."
After saying that, he turned around and left for the darkness.
Mikael who witnessed the actions of the wolf, immediately rushed next to him to unfreeze his foot. Fortunately, the ice melted on its own.
Licht who was holding swords tightly fell to the ground. He was blacked out from the immense pain.
Meanwhile, the wolf was still moving silently. He was looking forward to meeting the boy who got his gift. Perhaps, this was the fate that his father was talking about. His father told that their pack was the strongest pack which followed the ice wolf. ' Ice Wolf ' was the divine wolf who got its power from nature.
" Father, do you think my choice was right?"
He questioned his decision because what he gave was true ice. True ice was the unique trait of the northern tribes like Iceborns, Ice rulers, etc. It had the most potent ice power in the whole world due to its trait.
Swoosh*
A single hawk landed on the tree while looking at the wolf. It was a beautiful hawk with icy blue feathers. Furthermore, it was huge, unlike normal hawks.
She looked at the wolf with a gentle gaze as if it was trying to dote on him.
" Glacia, what have you been doing?"
Glacia bowed to the hawk because it was one of the guardians in the north. She who was hailed as the ' Bird of the absolute ice ', was the patron of his life and his raiser.
She protected him from all dangers after their pack was killed by the berserk god.
" Mother, I saw a human boy."
The hawk tilted her head. She eagerly looked at its son because he was the sole kind of its own.
Even though there are frost wolves in the north, there are no ice wolves except for him.
The hawk gently opened her wings and landed on the ground. Her powerful claws pierced the ground immediately albeit she was suppressing her power.
" Finally, my son has a friend. Do you know his name?"
Glacia shook his head since he didn't ask his name in the first place. All he knew was that he would meet him again in the future.
