章節 13: Chapter 13:THE GODS
A duo was engrossed in a conversation while presiding in a crystal clear pool. The young girl would speak time and again trying to explain something while the male frowned in ignorance while at other times in astonishment.
" Now do you get it?" asked Ju-Hui seriously with a frown in displeasure.
The young man in front of her made her explain tonnes and volumes of the path of cultivation for him to understand what had happened to him. It was quite frustrating for her.
" I got it. I have somehow started cultivation and am also somehow a step closer to the Spiritual Realm. Isn't it?"
" Let's take it your way." Ju-Hui quickly said. Who knows what nonsense this guy would sprout before causing a scene. It was always better not to get into his way. That Ju-Hui had learnt.
" Okay let's first find a way out of here. I don't want to die of hunger."
Having spent all most 20 hours In the forbidden ground, the bellies of the duo had been demanding something in return. Alas! the cave was dark and the only thing visible was the dark waterfall and the Crystal clear pool.
Seeing the small white drop dropping into the pool turning into nothingness. Everyone knew it would at least take about a hundred years for another white pool to be formed.
When Ju-Hui got out of the pool, her dress was completely wet and stuck on to her body exposing her well sculptured body.
Her twin peaks unknowingly protruded out of her dress giving a stun sexual pose. The well curved hips complimented her wasp-like waist making her look even more seductive. The small visible tone of her skin looked smooth and attractive like jade.With her long brown adding to the sexual charm, Futian could help but swallow hard. If not for the dark ambiance that Shielded most of her body, Futian might have completely lost control over some body parts.
" Hurry up! We have to find a way out of here!" Ju-Hui shouted unpleasant.
Cough! Cough! Cough!
Being caught guilty, Futian choked on his saliva.
" Are you okay? What's wrong?" Ju-Hui asked in a concerned tone.
" Nothing! nothing really!" Futian answered feeling even more guilty.
" Are you sure!"
" Yes.yes!" Futian anwered quickly like a hen pecking. Ju-Hui found his reaction funny and couldn't help but chuckle softly.
" Let's go!" Embarrassed Futian quickly said as he took the lead.
" Hey! Wait for me!"
The duo made it to the entrance of the dark tunnel before them. Futian quickly brushed off the web at the entrance.
" Hold this! " Ju-Hui threw a luminous pearl toward him and held another.
" Be careful!" she added
" You too!"
With that the duo made it into the dark tunnel.
" Hey look!" Ju-Hui called
Futian turned around and looked at the wall Ju-Hui was pointing at. On the stone walls 9f the tunnel were images of people raiding horses and weapons forming something like an army. Turning towards the other side of the wall were other images.
This time people were running and others carrying water from a waterfall. Some were raiding oxen in garden. Women carrying babies and men hunting. They brought harvests and animals as sacrifices in the temple like structure where they worship their gods.
The other side the horses charged towards something with a temple structure. Men and women almost ten times bigger than the normal people came out.
They held great Spears and swords in their hands. The other side too held their weaponry and took akimbo with determination. The Giants looked at the dark-skinned people with mockery and disdain.The Giants could command nature like the gods. Using wind, earth, fire, water and metal to their fullest. They fought to annihilate the dark-skinned race.
A great fierce war broke out. The dark-skinned people shot arrows that turned the whole heavens dark covering the moon and sun. The heavens shook and the earth broke apart.
The images flashed and screams of horror were all over the place. Lakes and rivers of blood were formed. The Giants shook and their eyes were filled with despair at one moment.
The fight having continued for years took a strange turn. The dark-skinned people began controlling nature too. Some also began controlling space and time. Lightning and thunder came to their disposal.
The Giants were slain one after another till they were no more. The losses of the dark-skinned people were not any less. Out of the millions of people who began the war, only a few hundreds came out as survivors.
Unknowingly, a great palm covered the sky and the whole world shuttered into people. And the images vanished causing the duo to sigh.
Whether they sighed in relief or in pain, no one could tell.
The land of prosperity where people lived happily and worshipped the gods turned into a battle field in one second. The people fought against the gods they prayed to at one time and their blood formed rivers and lakes. Bodies of the dead even formed mountains.
Even after achieving victory over such strong beings, an even greater existence destroyed the survivors of the wars. How scary, how thrilling, how painful.It was a massacre like no others.
The events they had seen caused them to sweat in panic and also sigh in pain and regret.It was a nightmare no one would wish to face.
How determined were the people to fight against such existences like the gods. The gods were beings feared all over the world. Even the strongest people in the Hei dynasty would have to bow if a god surfaced. How strong willed were the people to willingly sacrifice their lives to such an extent. Was their victory filled with sorrow or happiness? Did they eliminate all the gods? Who that being who destroyed the world with just a palm strike?
Of course no one would give the duo the answers for the time being. They didn't even have the right to know such information with this strength of theirs. With a sigh, they moved on.
" Let's go!" Futian said in a weak tone.
" Mmmm..." no words were exchanged till the end of the tunnel.
