I moved my finger, drawing heart patterns on Kieran's chest while his fingers raked through my hair.
"I suppose eventually we should leave the room." I said. "The rest of the pack might be worried." I giggled.
"I'll tell them exactly what happened, you've kept me hostage in here for the last two days you bloody little enchantress." Kieran chuckled.
"Oh like you haven't enjoyed it." I pushed his shoulder playfully. "If I had known it was so much fun we'd have done this ages ago." I said and gave him a devilish smirk.
"You were too busy yelling at me and pretending you didn't like me ages ago." Kieran smiled. "However you are right, We should venture out of the room."
"Or... we could not."
"Eventually we have to eat. Sable was not amused when I asked her to bring our breakfast to the room this morning." Kieran laughed. "I'm afraid if I asked again she'd poison us."

Months after Kieran leaves his pack everyone has moved on. Everyone except his mate, Amara who will stop at nothing to get him back home where he belongs.
On her journey to find her mate. Amara is forced to have an encounter with her father Alexander and learns not everything was what it once seemed with him. She also make's friends with the Sherrif in the city and inadvertently working with him to solve a case involving 4 missing teenage girls.
Kieran has been living in his old family cabin on the other side of the city in ocean side part of wolf country trying to keep to himself to avoid contact with the vicious and bloodthirsty alpha Malec, that has taken over in Kierran's families' absence. Kieran crosses paths with a young girl that has been forced to be a wolf at Malec's hand. Feeling somehow compelled by the need to help this girl, Kieran is completely unaware of the mystery of the girl's family that is about to unfold.
