"Get a move on, soldier! The tank has opened a path for us! Now, move!"
…
"Sergeant? Sergeant! Don't die on me, son. You plan to conquer the boxing world, don't you? You're a genius, aren't you? Then what the fuck are you laying there for?!"
…
"Sergeant @&$*T03###$-"
…
Akane was watching the scene of his death repeatedly for a long while now, and he doesn't understand why it's happening. Sure, he did consumed the Cocktail, but wasn't he supposed to arrive in the ancestral plane rather than this?
"Not even I could understand, Subject 03011. His Existence's vision cannot be understood clearly."
Akane looked towards where the voice are coming from, and he saw a man in a suit, wearing a blank mask.
"Admin. Didn't think I'd see you so soon." Akane greeted.
The person, the Admin, chuckled at Akane's words.
"I, as well, didn't think that we'd meet this soon. But I was bored, you see, as the others are taking care of the new Subjects' arrival."
Akane just nodded, before remembering something.
"This character, my vessel, he's a whole lot taller, isn't he? Thanks for that."
"Oh no, think nothing of it. It's just a small freebie" The Admin shook his head. "Anyway, since I had the time, there's something I wish to discuss with you for a bit."
"Huh? And I thought you're here for a break. Let's hear it then."
"Well, the World that you're in, Detective Conan's, there's actually a little secret about this world, and depending on your perspective, it's either a boon or an annoyance." The Admin said, somewhat tip-toeing on the subject.
Akane didn't say anything, waiting for the Admin to continue.
"You see, the World you found yourself in is actually operating under a floating timeline, something I forgot to tell you earlier because I haven't experience sending someone there before, and I just managed to discover it just a few while ago."
"Huh, that's… isn't that somewhat amazing?" Akane thinks about the implication of being in a floating timeline, and found it not so much of a disadvantage.
'Don't I get to live a little longer being in a floating timeline?' He thought.
"Yes, but that's why I said that it'll either be a boon or an annoyance. You might find yourself in a summer climate today only to find out that it has suddenly become winter." The Admin explained.
This time it was Akane who chuckled, finding that phenomenon amusing.
"I think it'll be fun. I guess I have to shop for more clothes for the colder seasons, but I guess that's just about it."
"I see. Very well, then. That's the only thing I want to discuss with you today, and it's not like there's something we can do about it other than you traveling to another world and change it as your base world."
They made small random talks, about Akane's new life mostly, before the Admin finally took him out of that weird dimension.
Akane opened his eyes, and he noticed Rika who was trying to escape his grasp.
~
Rika woke up feeling both pleasant and sore, and she sobered up immediately when she noticed that the ceiling was familiar but definitely different from her own room.
After receiving the key from Akane's father, she sometimes comes inside not just to clean, but also sleep in the bed where her beloved Aoi used to slept in, doing indescribable things that are better left unsaid.
Feeling the extra weight on her body, she first saw an arm that's clearly not hers, wrapped around her waist and pushing her body closer to whom the arms belongs to.
That made her remember the events that transpired that night, and she felt an intense guilt in her gut to what she has done.
'Oh my God, I pushed myself on Aoi's son!' She moved her hands to hide her face as streaks of tears flow down from her eyes.
She tried to get up as she grab ahold of Akane's arm, when that same arm suddenly forced her back down.
"Going somewhere?" She heard his voice behind her.
With her guilt eating at her conscience, she started apologizing to him.
"A-Akane, I… I'm sorry…" She spoke in a whisper so quietly that she's barely audible, but Akane managed to hear her.
"For what, for forcing yourself on me?" Akane asked in an accusatory tone.
Rika didn't verbally replied as she started sobbing and nodded her head as a reply. She then heard Akane chuckling behind him.
"Don't be. You're awesome last night, Rika." This time Akane said in a playful tone. His arm that was on her waist started moving and his hands reached for her breast, while the other snaked to her crotch.
"But Rika, there's still something you should apologize to me about." As he was saying so, Akane started groping her breast and rubbing her clit. "You see, after you've fallen asleep last night. It wasn't my name that I heard from your mouth, but my mom's."
When she heard him, Rika visibly stiffened at his words, and Akane, who was purposely toying with her, was cruelly enjoying her reactions so far.
"You really loved my mom, don't you, Rika? More than a tutor… more than a sister… you love her as a woman, don't you?"
Her sobbing got a bit louder, and Akane finally decided to end this cruel game of his so they could get started.
"So, Rika. Won't you apologize to me already, so that we could bury the hatchet?"
Rika, who was still sobbing, nodded at him and started apologizing.
"I'm… I'm sorry, Akane."
Hearing her apologize, Akane stopped his ministrations to her body and moved her body so that she was facing him.
"You're forgiven, Rika. I don't blame you for loving mom, as she's clearly a fantastic woman, but… Rika, don't you think your apology is a little lacking?" Reaching for her hand, Akane made her hold his erection as she was looking at her straight in the eye, his intentions laid bare.
Rika didn't answered, but her actions says it all. She got up and moved towards his dick, and she started lapping on it while some tears still flows from her eyes.
'This… it's like I'm the only one at fault here. Whatever, it's adding flavor, and I was never blown by someone crying before.'
They wasted the entire morning doing bed calisthenics, and Rika's state of mind gradually became better.
~
Rika was in a daze for the past ten minutes, sitting in the same sofa she got drunk last night after cleaning the mess they never cleaned up yesterday.
She felt pleasantly sore, but now that she's alone, she started thinking the implications of her actions last night and earlier, and she couldn't help but think of Akane's words.
'You never had a lover? Then isn't it fine having this kind of relationship between us. You get boned by a male version of your beloved, and I get to bone you. Mutually beneficial, you know?'
At first, she was afraid of how Akane would look at her when she told him her feelings towards his mother, but he looked perfectly fine with it.
'No, he looked absolutely unbothered by it.' She thought when she remembered how he replied to her confession.
"But…" It wasn't a bad idea, was what she didn't blurted out.
In actuality, Rika is a competent person, considering she's currently managing her own business.
But Aoi, Akane's mother, was an obsession that she has ever since she was young, the first person to ever show her care. To Rika who has a business-minded parents and are always busy, Aoi is like the light in the dark.
Her friend, her sister, her mother, her beloved. That is the kind of existence Aoi is to her, and that is something that would never change for Rika.
But Aoi is dead, and before that, married and is living overseas. Now that her son has arrived and would start living at the most special place in Rika's heart, she couldn't help but want to establish the same relationship that she had with Aoi in the past, projecting herself on the young man who was forced out of his own home.
In the end, Rika decided to continue her initial goal, to establish a good relationship with Akane, her beloved's remaining memory in this world, no matter what form it takes.
Her musings was cut off when she heard the door open and Akane voice indicating that he was home, and he appeared holding a big paper bag with a brand of a famous fast food chain printed on it.
"Rika, here's our lunch." Akane smiled at her, reminiscent of the smile she hasn't seen for a very long time.
'No matter what form it takes.' Rika thought to herself.
