I let the music wash over me, Sinlan's scent filling my space and taking me away from where we were. His words from the hallway kept repeating in my mind. He would burn the world to find me, make the world pay if they lost me. I've never had anyone care about me enough to lift a finger, let alone an army. Silas had known too, he had been the one who told Sinlan to speak up. What had I ever done for the Goddess to bless me with these two men? "More than two. Our other mates will feel the same way." My wolf's voice made me smile. 

I looked up into Sinlan's eyes, their warm green depths pulling me in like a forest longing to be searched. "I am sorry again, for making you feel that way before. For upsetting you so much you almost lost control. I never meant for it to happen." He gave me a gentle smile as he spun me around and then planted a gentle kiss on my head.
