章節 2: Entry 2: Naming the dragon
The morning today was beautiful like always...the sunrise, singing birds, cool breeze, always the most beautiful scenery of this country....
The only problem I have is that currently I have a baby dragon with me....playing with a ball I bought today morning..
The dragon was pushing the ball and running after it
"What should I do with you..." I began thinking
Now it isn't weird to have a magical beasts like baby wolfs or singing birds for pets, perhaps even a unicorn but only noble families can afford that.
But a dragon...that's where a trouble occurs...
Dragons are sacred beasts...people praise it as it's lord...it is believed that it was the dragons who saved people from floods with just their roar or brought up rain in drought areas with its roar too....
Dragons are mystical creatures in our kingdom and raising one is quiet troublesome too....
I thought what I will do it with when it started to cry
Perhaps it was hungry so I gave it some milk again
"Here look at you drinking this milk while flapping your wings too" I said to him while he was drinking his milk
Now see, I can't afford to tame a dragon because I have no idea how to take care of a dragon
Sure I can probably tell if he has an illness or not but I have no idea what it eats and how much it eats because of it being a newborn.
So I had to do quickly do something about it.
For now I kept the dragon in my room so it doesn't get out of here and cause some trouble and opened my clinic for now....

"Thank you very much, please visit us again!!" I was done with one of my customers who bought their pet dog for a checkup.
Apparantly the dog hurt one of its paws so I treated it with my plant magic to create a medicinal herb for it
My magic is not all special and I can't do any complex stuff with it
The most I can do is create a tree with it or help creating medicinal herbs with it....
Anyways, I went to check on the baby dragon to see what it was doing....just to peek from my room it was sleeping....on my bed which had been ripped apart.....Wait a minute?Ripped apart?! Oh no..I quickly entered my room and went to check the bedsheet
The dragon woke up because of it and all it said to me was "Kyuuu"
I couldn't even get angry at it...I just got tired
And it wasn't the only trouble that happened today
While I was preparing my lunch, the dragon came and tackled me and the food I was carrying fell on me.
I was checking all the herbs and their stocks and the dragon tackled the closet and some of the jars fell
"Oh god, NOW I HAVE TO RESTOCK IT AGAIN" I screamed and all the dragon replied was "Kyuu"....atleast someone seemed to enjoy my misery...
And last but not the least I was outside the clinic cleaning the roadside and then the little dragon of a tornado came and scratched my windows and in the end broke it....
I quickly went inside and checked if the baby was not damaged and to my fortunate news it wasn't....
"This can't go on" I had to do something about it or else the damage my house will take...it wouldn't be long until it becomes a broken shack
In fact I couldn't even get angry at the dragon...because it was just a newborn and second it was way too cute
Today was just frustrating and worrisome day....and eating dinner while giving dragon some meat and milk I had saved....we both went to sleep thinking I have to get a new bedsheet and fix my windows tomorrow.....

The next morning I woke up,opened my windows and checked the dragon...to my no surprise it was still sleeping with its wings closed...
"Atleast someone is peacefully sleeping"
And so I woke up and first thing I did was prepare my breakfast before the dragon woke up and causes troubles for me and ate it quickly
Then I had to prepare milk for the dragon and to my surprise....I had no milk
It was already 8:00 am in the morning and the stores don't open until the next hour so I had to manage something else
Then I remembered I still had the leftovers from yesterday and prepared a solid meal with it and went to my room to feed the little dragon.
It was still sleeping and so I kept the food in front of him and went to open the clinic without waking him up
Well now I have to restock milk too....and then I started thinking something
'Why am I raising a dragon again?It's not like it's mine or anything...can't I just leave it at wild?' thoughts like this started entering my mind
True it did hatched in front of me but it's not like I hatched it, it would have hatched either way and lived in the jungle freely....
Thoughts like this entered my head and I started feeling guilty that I was keeping the dragon outside of its natural habitat and keeping it with me...
So I decided at today noon I will release the dragon from where I picked up the egg again...
Just as I was going to my room I check on him....I was surprised...he was not here....he disappeared from my house
It seems the window was opened
Oh shoot I forgot to close my window and locked my door just so he doesn't escapes
It seems he ran away from the window....I started to panic. I had no idea one little mistake could cause this much panic
That dragon was only 3 day old
What would happen if something were to happen to it, what if someone captured it and sold it to someone else, what if some noble family took it and did some experiments to it, what if....a dangarous magical beast finds it and attacks it
All these thoughts came to my mind and I started panicking
Yeah that child can't be left alone
So I quickly went outside the clinic and started to find him at the entire town.....
I was running around the town, searching in alleyways, searching in stores and asking the townsfolk about it....alas I wasn't able to find anything....
So only place for me left to check was the forest...I searched the entire forest...looked around caves, bushes and even the place where I found the egg....but I wasn't able to find it at all....
Horrified I started to cry regretting why wasn't I careful enough

.
It was already too late....it was evening time so rejected I started heading towards my home thinking it already went too far away from me.....just as I entered my home another surprise struck me....the dragon was actually in my counter sleeping peacefully with its belly out
All sorts of emotions came to me but what I did was unexpected for me...I went towards the dragon and hugged him
"I'm sorry...I'm sorry....from now on I will start to take care of you!!" I said it to him crying...it seems I already grew attached to it and I would have been alot more worried if I released it today
The dragon looked at me and put its paws on my forehead and said its usual "Kyuuu"
That baby voice seems to have struck my soul
I don't know why but by hearing it's voice it seemed all my worries went away
"Tama" I don't know why but it was the first word came to my mind...."Tama...from now on your name would be Tama!!"
The dragon tilted its head and said "Kyuuu" it seemed to have liked the name
In that moment I decided to take care of it until it's big and old enough to take care of itself....until then I will take care of it
Deciding it I went back to my room with Tama on my arms and opened it....to my surprise my room was a mess
There were claw marks everywhere...it seemed a storm came by here by how much mess has been created
I looked at Tama and it looked at me and said "Kyuuu!!"
I sighed....
looks like it's going to be alot troublesome days from now on
Starting that day Tama was a new family member for me.....and our daily life began anew!!
