Most of what Blush had in mind for herself required a method that allowed her to fight against others in any environment without having to rely too much on the surrounding elements that she could manipulate.
While it was possible to manipulate certain elements to defeat her enemies, not everyone would have to be killed.
There needed to be a variety of all kinds of methods to deal with all kinds of situations until Blush had become strong enough to develop new spells to deal with more durable, agile or stronger opponents with much higher power levels.
The witches in her coven were working together to help build what she needed from the various collections of their studies.
Blush manipulated the fire and her control of magic to help shape and transmute the materials in front of herself.
The other witches surrounded the forming shape which was in the middle of the room with their palms pointing towards it.
It was as if they were using all their power to stop the fire from spreading further and were aiding in the process of the shape being formed.
There was a formation set up to aid in the process being stable and to avoid accidents.
Slowly the shape looked more solid as the flames were dying down.
What appeared before their eyes was a large sized cauldron which looked very sturdy, on it were some strange looking runes and it had many different levers and vents on it.
It looked more advanced than an ordinary cauldron and looked like a more advanced piece of scientific apparatus but it was on a larger scale.
Blush revealed a small smile as she inspected it thoroughly then grabbed something on her waist which looked like a small gourd. "Not bad."
The lid was removed as it was pointed towards the large cauldron which caused the cauldron to be sucked inside once the magic power activated the small magical gourd.
Once it was inside, Blush sealed it and placed it on her waist once again. "Now I feel more at ease."
If someone was to look inside of her magical gourd then they would find a wide variety of different types of magical tools or weapons.
Once she had grasped how to make the magical gourds, she moved onto making all kinds of different magical weapons or tools then moved onto the cauldron.
The more proficient Blush became, the more creative she could be with what she could build.
The bigger problems which could not be so easily dealt with by using force alone could be solved by the many tools she had contained within her gourd.
It would require much less use of her magic power to manipulate them than ordinary objects since they had been forged with her own magic power and were linked to her.
The efficiency of the use of her magic power would be greatly improved so that she could focus on maintaining her other spells like her mana shield.
The witches continued their research and made use of some cheap materials to produce a couple of prototypes for different healthcare and beauty products that matched what others could make within the current timeline.
That was until there was a knock on the large gate of Blush's home which was surrounded by a large wall to keep herself secluded and away from prying eyes.
Blush opened the door to see someone with a flustered look on their face. "The master.. the master is sick. He is calling for you."
Blush placed her hand on her chin and frowned. 'Is this how things are supposed to play out or have I had some influence over this? Perhaps this may be my fault..'
Blush couldn't help but worry after she had returned from the witch hunt because there could be some repercussions that followed.
Whether what was happening to her master was something that was happening as a result of her interference or was already destined to happen was unknown but she couldn't help but worry over those things.
If something was destined to happen then there was a possibility that her actions may have simply sped up some things.
It was partly due to having a lack of information about her surroundings which often lead to her anxiety and not knowing how her actions would affect others.
Living in a sensitive timeline could bring about massive changes to the future and development of the world so calculating every little detail became a habit of hers.
Her master being sick was something Blush was concerned about since he was one among the few people that she had some form of connection with.
Whether it was natural or not could not only be determined once she had checked over him herself so Blush quickly ran out and followed the person who came to inform her.
Blush found herself before the bed of the old man who lay there looking very pale and weak. "Old man.."
The old man Arbor opened his eyes slowly with difficulty. "Blush.. you have come.. just in time."
Blush grabbed his hand and scanned his body with her magic power. "Quiet.. you do not need to speak."
She slowly inspected his body until her brows started to furrow and she grit her teeth. "It is similar.."
What she could find was a similar pattern to what was found on the previous city lord and a couple of others that had been inspected by her and old man Arbor. "Why has this appeared on you?"
It was not contagious so her next line of reasoning lead her towards why he would have it or a similar strain within his body of what was found in the others.
Many would say that Blush was a cold and work oriented person in her previous life but they were very wrong.
Those she was close to were often treated very well by her and she cared for them greatly.
She cared a lot but there was still the betrayal or competitiveness from those close people she worked with or had relations with which had lead her to be more closed off and difficult to open up to others.
Old man Arbor was not that important but he had become someone she had come to like enough that she would not wish for his death and would want to save him if she could.
Old man Arbor was probably destined to die soon even if she intervened because of his old age but she still wanted to spend a little more time with him. 'I cannot just lose him now but saving him will only draw attention to me. Him being alive for longer may influence things very differently to how they should play out. How should I deal with this?'
Blush's red eyes lit up suddenly then she sat opposite the old man. "Old man, do you want to live?"
