章節 15: CHAPTER 14: DEL LUNA FAMILY
THIRD PERSON
As Devian and the others entered the classroom, he couldn't help but look across at Aria, who was clutching a textbook and had a worried expression on her face. 'Del luna Now that you bring it up, he really look like Damion,' he was about to question her when he heard Edwin Moran speak.
"How surprising.. I didn't know that damion had a sister.. I've known him since I'm still a child but to think.."
aria just give him an awkward look before looking down the ground, ".. My father had to order me to go to social events, therefore I never went without his permission. I never leave my room and don't like to go out much, in contrast to my brother who is skilled at networking with prominent families and frequently receives invitations from them." Every word she speaks has a tinge of bitterness, and when she notices that the atmosphere has darkened, she smiles awkwardly once more.
"Please don't mind me.. haha.. let's just enter!" All of their eyes widened as she opened the door, and as she did, dozens of arrows began to fly in their direction. aria froze in place, her eyes shut, and suddenly Devian grabbed her by the side, joining Fynn and Edwin in doing the same. meanwhile, rufus opened his fan and used it to block the arrows from flying in their direction.
This fan is not as ordinary as you might think; it is also a modern weapon used primarily for defense. From the outside, it may appear to be an ordinary folding fan made of thin materials. but the fan can withstand arrows, bullets, and other sharp weapons since it is composed of titanium alloy, which is lighter than three eggs.
Rufus quickly lowered his folding fan, removed all the arrows that had struck it, and then turned to look at the person who had nearly murdered him when another dagger suddenly appeared in front of him. However, rufus simply caught it and continued as if nothing had occurred.
"That's quite a rude of you... Chauncey." when he said those words, a man with blonde hair went out in the shadow, and there they saw Chauncey steinhart, giving them a smile.
"yo~ Nice to see you again rufus and.." he glance to aria with a serious look, " it took you a very long time to apply in Night class, aria.. you can just seek help to your brother, if you need something."
Devian notice that aria clenched her fist, and then not long after, he heard her sigh silently and give chauncey a simple smile.
"Since the student council has been so busy over the past few days, I don't want to disturb him. In addition, I'm not the type of person who would abuse their position to acquire what they want, in contrast to some other guys out there." she give chauncey a glance before bow to her slightly and enter inside of the room then passes at him as she sat on the back. chauncey just scratch his cheeks while shaking his head.
"like brother, like sister." he whispered inwardly before he look at devian and keir.
"By the way, devian, I didn't know that you're close at them." Devian gave Fynn and Rufus a quick glance, and when they did so, stillness descended once more. A few moments later, he just closed his eyes and placed his hands in his pocket before entering the room as well.
"No.. we just happens that we went in the same elevator." with that, He didn't do much more than sit in the chair closest to the window and begin watching the entire class. The students' seats were divided into two sections with 10 chairs apiece; the Class-zero section was on the right, and the other section, which attends night sessions, was on the left.
'there are unfamiliar students, mostly from A-class, but I couldn't see elyze at all, is she still sleeping?' devian's mind started to went adrift as he glance at the window, when he heard some girls sitting at the left side whispering to each other while looking at him.
He just maintains his air of coldness, but after a short while, he smiles sweetly at the females and bows gently, making them blush in their seats. Devian was fiddling with his wristwatch when a holographic information tab appeared in front of him, displaying his information and the several points he had earned over the course of the previous week.

'Congratulations! You are now rank 251st! would you like to put your name in Hall of fame?'
He grinned a little, shut his watch, didn't pay attention to the message, and took out the phone that was provided to them when they transferred. He then press the message app to search for Crystalle's name before dialing her number. When the phone rang, he put it on his ears right away.
On the one hand, You will see Elyze in front of class-zero's building, covered in blood, with four corpses surrounding him. she was holding a gun and a black dagger, and her ash-gray hair was tied up into a fish braid. she was wearing a white school shirt, a red blazer, a 15-inch skirt above the knee, and black socks that reached his knees. This time, she is merely sporting a pair of black contact lenses rather than her usual round eyeglasses. until she felt her phone vibrate, at which point she simply answered it and saw Devian's name on the call.
"why is this guy calling?" she asked with expressionless face. as she prepared to take the calls, when he heard a voice in front of him and saw a man approaching him while visibly shivering and staring at her as if he had just seen a ghost, so she smiled.
"you wanted to see me aren't you?? Even though you wrote me a letter stating that you wanted to meet me in front of class-zero's building, but now.. you're shaking." crystalle said with no reaction, When Keir finally left her room earlier, she got ready to meet this guy from D-class right away. Unfortunately, due to some unfortunate circumstances, she ran into a group of troublemakers while out walking who tried to hit on her. Since they irritated the hell out of her, they all died, and this guy from D-class witnessed everything.
"T-t-that's Because—!" the guy didn't finished what he was about to say when he heard crystalle clicks his tongue, she didn't realize that she already answers devian's calls and he is now listening from the line.
"How boring.." She muttered as she passed the man without paying him any attention. After collecting all of the points left over from the earlier victims, she then opened her watch to reveal a holographic tab in front of her.

Points: 56, 000 pts + 35, 000 pts( 91, 000 pts overall)
crystalle was surprised as soon as he saw their points, but a little awhile, she smirk meaningfully. "I'm quite lucky." just then, she heard someone laughing, she looked at her phone and gasped when she realized Devian was on call. She put the phone to her ears and asked him with a tiny expression of irritation.
"the hell do you want?"
[ Nothing.. I was suppose to check you weather if you are awake or sleeping, who would have thought that you're 'harvesting' some points on your own without telling to me.. I'm quite envious.]
crystalle just click her tongue, " don't pretend like you didn't know anything, I sense you in the pool earlier, acting like a stalker, how shame." she then heard devian chuckles from the line.
[you should finished it by now, you and damion are the only ones who weren't here, or perhaps.. you were together?] Every phrase that Devian keeps uttering has a subliminal undertone of mocking. There is a hint of jealousy there, but Elyze was unaware of it at the time; all she knew was that Devian was having fun making fun of her.
"heh.. are you jealous?" she joked to him while smirking.
[Oh dear, why would I? we knew that there's no way you would break our contract just for him, he's your archenemy after all, and archenemies cannot be together.]
"Exactly. that's why WE cannot be together, goodbye." When elyze abruptly ended the call and quietly exhaled, devian was just about to say anything when he winced and glanced at the phone, which had the nickname "ma reine" written on it. Then, he smiled once more as he pressed the home screen, where elyze's picture was set as the wallpaper.
"Archenemies, huh? too bad but there are no impossible things for me.. my lady,
it's not that I would let you live happily."

As soon as Elyze hung up the phone, she turned to face the D-class student again, who was still trembling. She then pulled out a handkerchief to clean off the blood from her hands before walking over to the student.
"I've been waiting for you to say something, but if there isn't anything you wanted to say, then I will just leave," she said. "Oh, and by the way, you should get back to your dorm right now, Mr. President might find you here and kill you right there." She gave her one last warning and grinned before leaving him speechless. Elyze then proceeded to walk directly to the hallways, locate the elevator, get inside, and press the fifth button. She couldn't help but be in awe of the academy's stunning surroundings when she saw the dozens of stars above and the pale white moon.
When the elevator stopped at the third floor, Caitlyn Chambers, the A-class secretary, entered. She had lovely black straight hair and orange eyes. Elyze just ignores Caitlyn as if she hadn't seen her, closing her eyes and leaning against the walls. Caitlyn gasped when she first saw Elyze and couldn't help but admire her beauty. till the elevator shuts off again.
'From class-zero? or B-class? tsk. how arrogant.' Caitlyn said to himself.
A short while later, the elevator stops and opens once more, and when it happened, Elyze immediately stepped outside and began to travel down a hallway with red carpeting and didn't waste a time to look at Caitlyn. There are several tall windows on the side, but Elyze didn't look at them; instead, she went straight to their classroom. When she got there, she just fixed herself and checked to see if she had any blood stains on her clothes; after making sure she didn't, she held the doorknob, sighed, and opened the doors.
As the door opens, she is met with countless cold stares, but she simply ignores them, just like Caitlyn. As she walks in front of them with a demure demeanor, girls begin to look at her with envious eyes, while the others simply roll their eyes at her. Meanwhile, fynn, who was reading in silence on the back, sneakily glanced at her when rufus speak to him.
"that's the person I'm talking about what do you think?"
"who? caitlyn?"
"elyze, elyze moriarty, idiot!"
fynn close the books he was reading and laugh at him, "Who knows.. but.. she's quite something."
"She's beautiful.." As rufus and Fynn turned to face Elyze, they noticed Aria giving her a straight look of admiration in the back. When Aria realized what she had spoken, she nervously turned away from their eyes.
"s-sorry.. i-it's just that.. she just look like aphrodite!" Then Caitlyn, who was seated next to Fynn, heard what Arian said. She couldn't help but clench her fist and click her tongue as she glared bitterly at the person seated next to Devian which was elyze.
'I knew it.. I wouldn't like her.' she thought again.
"Is that so..? but isn't caitlyn is way too more attractive than her?" and that prevents Caitlyn from continuing to ponder. She then turns to face Fynn, who was grinning at her, making her blush slightly and averting her sight.
"I'm not." she replied but deep inside, she couldn't help but to smile widely if not only rufus and the others wasn't here.
Many guys wanted to be her suitors because of her beauty and charms, but no one dared to do it because of Fynn. Caitlyn Chambers was referred to as the "Queen of roses" in the academy because every time there was a contest about beauty pageants or a ball or party held, she was always the number one. Despite having been together for almost 4 years, only a small number of individuals are aware of their relationship.
on the one hand, rheyne, who's sitting at elyze's back along with rohan notice on how caitlyn giving her a cold look earlier.
"look, look, caitlyn gazing at you earlier elyze!" he said in carefree way, so elyze look at their side but soon after she just diverted her glance from them and look to rheyne.
"Rather, I'm more curious who is she, it seems like she have something against me." elyze put her hands on the desk while smiling to rheyne. "is she something I need to becareful about?" she added, so rheyne just sigh.
"Well, caitlyn chambers was known as the "Queen of Roses" in this academy; in addition to being academically talented, she is also talented in music, particularly the violin and piano, thanks to fynn's assistance; after all, he was the king of music and the living apollo of the Academy. Nevertheless, for me, she is not someone I need to be cautious of, except to rufus, edwin, and fynn. that is." rheyne explained, so elyze just squinted to them, fynn was reading while rufus and edwin was just having a conversation to each other.
"ah, and by the way.. Similarly to Caitlyn, who is running for secretary, Fynn is standing for president of the student council this year. Both of them ran last time as well, but they lost due to Damion and Alexandra joining forces. " rheyne also added, another smirk form from elyze as soon as she heard those words, seeing this, rheyne couldn't help but to felt uneasy as though he made a mistake to tell that to her.
"so they are something.. huh?" she said out of amusement. Suddenly, someone join their conversation, it was none other than Alexandra, who was sitting beside rohan, her face went serious.
"Well, if it's just Caitlyn, that was just easy, actually, I can take her myself, but you should prepare for the consequences, especially when fynn clemency moves. In-fact, if we didn't use tricks that time, we wouldn't win; the reason we won two seats on the student council was because headmistress Amara helped us." elyze glance at Alexandra, so she just smile awkwardly.
"sorry, I heard your conversation earlier and I couldn't help but to butt in. for some reason, I really hate caitlyn chambers." she pouted while crossing her arms, so elyze just laugh silently.
"then if you hate him, you can just tease her just by participating in recitation, or correct all her wrongs in the class, right?"
"You're right about that.. That's amazing elyze! I'll do it!"
"that's good."
meanwhile, Rheyne and Devian, on the other hand, only shook their heads and looked at Alexandra who was humming a tune with a smile on her face. They spoke a mumbled phrase as the corner of their lips twitched in unison..
"She's completely get use by her."
suddenly, As soon as the door opens once more, they both stop talking. They all turn to face the person who enters, which causes the other students to experience shivers down their spine, especially when they see damion wearing eyeglasses as he walks infront in a dignified manner. Some pupils also began to whisper to one another.
'The president of student council..'
'I've been seeing damion del luna always but.. I still couldn't get use to his nauseous aura, as expected to the president of student council and leader of class-zero..'
On the one hand, Aria clenched his fist once again when he saw his brother walking in front of him, covering her face with her textbooks and pretending to be reading. Damion then stopped next to her and put his hands in his pocket shortly after.
"it seems like we have new faces here." his calm voice resonant around the classroom, as damion glance at aria. when he notices that she's not speaking at all, damion just let out a sigh.
"You didn't came with chrysastomus, where is he?" he whispered to aria.
"chrys catch a cold, so he was absent tonight."
that's right, aside to aria, damion has another siblings. infact, the del luna family have two son, a twins and one daughter. damion was the oldest, chrysastomus was the second son, his age was 19, then damion have a twin siblings named apollo redther del luna and artemis raher del luna. and lastly, the youngest one, which was dawsyn arianne del luna.
While the twins, apollo and artemis, were enrolled at the papillon rouge academy, which is also covered by their father, damion, his two siblings, chrysastomus, and aria, were studying at their aunt's papillon noir academy. but... since every one of them is vying for that seat and will do whatever it takes to remove Damion from his position as the Organization's successor, none of them were close to him. but for Aria, it's different. She prefers cooperation over competition. the only one that matters to her is..
her family's acknowledgement.
meanwhile, damion just nod and said to her, "I see.." before started to keep walking where elyze was sitting, when he notice that there's a blank seat beside elyze, damion sat there that makes devian twitch his lips in irritation.
'bastard..' he lampooned.
After a while, the class was in complete silence when the door opened once more. They were greeted by a stunning woman in her 30s with brown hair wearing a formal outfit, ocean-blue eyes, and a small diamond gemstone embedded in the handle of her teaching baton. When elyze noticed that everyone was standing up, she too stood up.
"good evening Miss Amara." they greeted to her, the headmistress just nod to them before give them a sign to sit down.
"We have new faces in night classes, huh? you should introduce yourself to us." she said as she sat on the desk before crossing her legs before she pointed elyze using her baton and added, "and we will start from you, Ms. Moriarty." so elyze stand up once more and look around.
'tsh, do I really have to do this?' she thought before let out a sigh and smile simply.
"It's elyze moriarty, 18 yrs old." as she was about to sat, miss amara spoke again.
"that's all? please tell us about yourself more, what are your hobbies? love interest? your likes and dislikes? and lastly.. what is your reason for.. entering in this academy?" elyze squinted her eyes to miss amara, who's just smiling to her sweetly.
'what a pain..' she added inwardly before replying to her, "first off, I don't really have any hobbies or things I like to do, but.." she said in a chilly, frosty tone as she looked squarely at Miss Amara. "I do despise those folks who keep prying into my personal affairs and those who keep criticizing my habits and manners."
"as for love interest.. as you know, I already have a fiancée and lastly.. the reason why I enter in this academy is..." she smirk inwardly but miss amara saw her, as she give her a sweet smile.
"to have some fun.. I guess?"
Many people were looking at her as she spoke, but she continued to sit in her seat as if nothing had happened. On the one hand, Damion couldn't help but smile internally when he heard her say those words; on the other hand, he just shook his head in amusement as she glanced at Crystalle with his peripheral vision.
'she truly.. never failed to surprise me.' damion thought.
meanwhile, miss amara just nods at her before glance at devian this time, so he also stand up.
"Devian Laxius Xenon, Nice to meet you, my hobbies are..."
Devian then began to introduce himself to them formally, as though he had done it before. It took another 15 minutes before aria's turn when the other newcomers finished introducing themselves. She speaks casually while standing up.
"Dawsyn arianne Del luna, 16 yrs old. I like friendly people but I dislike those people who think of themselves as superior, I do love studying, and as for love interest—!" she stop talking when she heard some people started to gossip about her.
'Del luna..? is she damion's little sister?"
'hmmp, what a shame, she's been stuck at B-class, she's nothing like damion.'
'she should just drop-out—!'
all of them stop from gossiping when Aria suddenly slam her desk that makes them surprise, even crystalle couldn't help but to look at her.
she let out a heavy sigh before keep talking. "as for love interest, I don't have any. lastly, the reason why I entered in the academy was only because.. My father forced me so. that's all."
the others just look at her with a relief before some of them just clap, one of them was elyze.
when they finished introducing their self, miss amara just stand up to the desk and clapped her hands gracefully.
"thank you so much, then let me re-introduce myself once more, I am Amara Cressida Del luna the headmistress of the Academy, the music professor of class-zero and at the same time.. the instructor of.. Night class, you can call me miss amara, madame cressida, or madame amara, anything you want! nice to meet you, students."
"and now since we have newcomers, we won't have a discussion for now, rather.. we will going to play a.. game of tag! and the setting?"
Miss amara glance at the window where you can only saw a various trees and enormous forest, she then spread her hands wide and look at her students with a sneer.
"we will going to play a game of tag in the academy's very own forest.. the jaded woods!"
