章節 144: The Boy Who Lost His Father

Julie ended up telling the whole staff what happened to them. Duncan could only rub her back or kiss her forehead while she was explaining everything. It took more than an hour. With everyone trying to say something or curses Julie had to pause every now and then.

"What about ex and Eva? What will happen to them?" Renzie asked.

Before Julie could answer she let out a loud yawn. She was already resting the phone on her chest, her eyes were already closed. It was time for them to stop talking. 

Duncan picked up the phone, turned off the speaker, and said, "We are not sure what will happen to them. It will take some time to sort everything out. The kids need to recover first before we do other steps."

The people on the other end of the line suddenly became quiet. He listened if they were still there and when someone cleared their throat he continued, "Anyway, we will keep you updated. Julie is already sleeping. She'll call again later. Bye, everyone."
