章節 22: Chapter twenty one

(Cassandra's POV)

The bell rings and we all start to pack up our belongings into our bags. The Lecturer is still saying something but I don't listen.

It's probably some assignment or a summary of what would be taught in the next class, I'll ask Michelle later.

It's been days, three days to be exact, since my return and my life has been as uneventful and dull as ever.

Apart from the fact that Michelle has been avoiding me for whatever reason, Princeton has also left me alone which is quite shocking but relieving.

"Hey cassie.'

I spoke too soon.

"What do you want Princeton?" I ask in a dull tone as I put the last of my notebook in my bag.

"Well, we have the same class next so I was wondering if you would let me walk to class with you."

I narrow my eyes in suspicion as I take in his tone. He sounded, may I say humble or rather like a reasonable Human being, not the cocky bullshit I am used to.
