Needless to say that sleep was something that Florence wasn’t able to do that night. She had barely closed her eyes when the sun started to light up the room through the curtains.

Scott was still beautiful and peacefully asleep by her side. What was she going to do now? If she was really pregnant, how could she tell him? That wasn’t part of the plan. They were on good terms now, but they haven’t addressed the big elephant in the room yet.

Florence had no idea what was going on inside Scott’s mind; if he still considered their fake marriage a deal or if he was planning on suggesting something else to her. She knew it was what she wanted. She couldn’t imagine her life without him anymore.

But, at the same time, she knew they had a business deal. Scott paid for her family’s debts and, in return, she’d fake a marriage with him so he could get his grandfather’s company, which was still to happen as far as she was concerned.
