章節 34: Chapter 34: Tuscany

In less than two months, Florence was crossing the ocean for the second time. First, the Maldives, and now on their way to Italy. She couldn’t hide her anxiety, not with all the problems they had and how scared she was to need to hide from whoever was trying to hurt her.

She didn’t feel like hiding her fear from Scott; one, because it would be basically impossible to do so, and two, because she knew she had to be honest with him. It was a matter of life or death, so she couldn’t pretend it wasn’t something serious.

Scott, on the other hand, was trying really hard to show her he was in control of everything, but whenever he thought she wasn’t looking, she could see the frown between his brows. His concerned look only made her want to comfort him, but no matter how hard she tried to find a silver lining in everything that was happening to them, it didn’t seem to have any.
