As it was already late, they decided not to go out to eat. Elise stuck to Samuel throughout the whole meal and even urged him to feed her. He smiled and patted the little princess, spoiling her as much as he could. Mayra's craftsmanship was as impeccable as he remembers, they had a hearty meal.

Elise who was in his arms was bobbing her head as today was too hectic for her small body to endure. She was sleepy but still grasping at his clothes refusing to let him go in fear that she wouldn't see him again.

It was only after a lot of coaxing and a bath together that she finally understood that this time he was going to keep his promise and accompany her tomorrow.
