Wendy only realized that her birthday was the next day after Leah mentioned it.

Michael was bringing the two children along to see her too, and that made her happy.

"Mommy, did you forget your birthday?" Jake's little face appeared on her screen as well. "We initially thought of giving you a surprise, but we were afraid that you would be working on your birthday, so we decided to tell you about it in advance instead. Remember, take a leave for tomorrow and don't go to work."

"Sure, Mommy will make a phone call right now." Wendy was beaming from ear to ear as she started feeling excited.

"We'll see you tomorrow then!" Jake waved at her.

After she hung up, Wendy called Timothy immediately.

She didn't need to inform Timothy if she was going to the office or not. She was leading an independent team after all. Thus, even though they were part of HG, they ran autonomously.

However, she decided to inform him out of respect.
