Wendy was a little taken aback by Michael's words. Michael mentioned before that he hoped that Wendy would not remember about the past. Yet, he offered to accompany her back. Wendy was not so sure if she should check out their old place.

After all these ordeals, she was certain that their relationship in the past was detrimental. But Michael had been very caring to her and the kids now. if she was to recall anything from the past, it would mean that likely the atmosphere and status of their relationship would change. 

She had wanted to get her memories back, but now she did not know what to do. She pondered for a while and then said casually,

"Maybe next time. If I want to go, you can accompany me then."
