Also, the Catelyn thing only works with Ned father being close friends with Hoster Tully and Jon Arryn, thus creating this betrothal to bring there relationships closer.But he made sure to keep Catelyn for Ned, since Brandon was the heir to the throne.

This would help create a bond with Ned and Robert because of Jon Arryn.

Also, if I go with Catelyn then I can kick Caitlyn out for disrespectful to the Valar and even Gandalf and Saruman.
