章節 10: The Consecrated Witch.
"We have to find a way to get to them!?" Caroline told them.
"Yes, I'll call Elijah…" Klaus told her, and picked up the phone.
"I'll see if I can get through to Aunt Freya?!" 10 year old Hope picked up the phone Caroline kept for the house.
Caroline nodded, and she took out her own phone. She called Hayley.
"Oh...okay, I'll get to it!" Hayley turned off the phone.
"Okay!!!" Caroline slapped her hands together, "We have to go to New Orleans."
Caroline called Alaric to let him know of the situation. He was angry, and upset. But she told him to look after the school.
He was so worried, but Caroline calmed him down, they were in New Orleans and the Mikaelsons were on their side. She convinced him to stay, and look after the school, while Klaus drove and Hope sat in back, and she was falling asleep.
"Here, sweetie…" She turned off the phone, and looked back at her, she threw a blanket on the back.
Hope took it, and stretched out in the backseats.
Caroline was on the phone every twenty minutes. Talking to Elijah, Freya, and Hayley.
Near five O clock, Hayley called her.
"Found them!" As the phone clicked, Hayley's voice reached Caroline. "They are sleeping in the Mikaelson Compound!"
"Thank you!" Caroline squealed.
Klaus shook his head, he was extremely sleepy, and Caroline's shrill voice woke him up.
"That is great, Hayley!" Caroline told her gratefully. "What happened?"
She asked.
"I'll get you the details when you get here!" Hayley told her.
"Okay." Caroline smiled. "Thank you, again!"
Klaus smiled.
"I am glad they are safe!"
Klaus parked the car into the Mikaelson Compound, and she got out. Klaus opened the back door, and took out Hope Mikaelson in his arms.
"Come on, Princess!" She yawned. "We'll get you to sleep in your bedroom."
"Did Aunt Freya find Lizzie and Josie?" She murmured.
"She sure did!" Klaus told her, "And we are here to see them!"
"Really?" She suddenly slid through Klaus's arms, and stood on the ground.
"Yes…" Klaus smiled.
Hope ran into the Mikaelson Compound.
"Mom!?" She shouted, "Uncle Elijah?"
Freya Mikaelson came in front of her,
"Always forget me, don't you?"
Hope threw herself at Aunt Freya.
"No, I don't!"
She hugged her.
"Hi, Freya!" Caroline came inside the room, "Where are they?"
She asked hurriedly.
"Upstairs!" Freya told her.
Caroline ran upstairs.
"Lizzie!?" She opened the door, "Josie?"
She saw her two little girls sleeping in the extra bedroom. They opened their eyes slowly. Looking at Caroline they rushed towards her.
"Mom!"
Caroline hugged them.
"Oh, my God!" She pulled them closer, "I am so happy you are okay!"
She sighed in relief.
"I love my little babies." She whispered softly.
Caroline put the girls to bed again. Hayley brought Hope and put her to bed too. Caroline slipped out of the room after ten minutes.
"What happened?" Caroline came down, and sat down on the couch. "Who took them, where did you find them?"
She was talking very fast, and asked many questions in one go.
"Just hold on a minute, love!" Klaus sank into the seat next to her. "Give Hayley a chance to answer!"
She jabbed him with his elbow, and he just grinned.
"Seriously?" She looked at him.
"They are safe, just relax, Caroline!"
She sighed.
"They were at the Church!" Hayley told her.
"The Church?"
"I am sorry….What church?" Caroline looked at him, and then looked at Hayley.
"St. Anne's church!" Hayley told her, "That's where Marcel kept Davina in...…."
"Marcel!?" Klaus stood up. "I think he is..."
Hayley stood up,
"Klaus!" She told him. "Don't jump to conclusions!"
Klaus nodded.
"But, let's go over there!" Caroline got up. "We can see clues there!"
"I saw everything carefully." Hayley told her, "Three vampires, and two werewolves, who ran away, and three witches who put up a fight."
She explained.
"Okay…." Caroline looked at her. "Who is, the witches, the werewolves or the vampires?" She asked.
"I don't know…" Hayley scratched her face.
"It is the witches!" Elijah Mikaelson came inside the room, he was wiping his hands on a handkerchief he had just pulled out from his pocket.
"How do you know?" Caroline asked him.
"Because our mother is a witch." He sat down.
"So?" Caroline and Hayley said together. "Why does that matter?"
"She is behind all this!" Elijah told her. "She did this when Hope was born?"
"I thought Klaus killed her!" Caroline yelled.
"He did." Elijah explained. "But the French Quarter witches buried her ashes. I recently acquired the information that she has been consecrated into the land, and she rose from the dead. The other side,"
Caroline looked at Klaus for help. Elijah used so much formal language, she sometimes got lost.
"Mom came back from the dead to mess with us."
Klaus told her in one sentence. She nodded,
"What does she have to do with my daughters?" Caroline demanded,
"I don't know, why do crazy women do anything!?" Klaus stood up, and walked around the room.
"This is bad, Elijah…." He turned towards his brother, "It is very very bad!"
"How?" Hayley asked.
"She will screw us over!" Klaus told her, "She always does and she will!"
"Why doesn't she bring it directly to you?" Caroline asked. "Why does she have to go through innocent children?"
Caroline looked horrified.
"Love," Klaus told her. "Because, she's crazy!"
Hayley laughed.
A woman came inside the room.
"I am Cassie." She told them, "And I have a message from Esther Mikaelson."
"Okay…" Klaus stared at her, she didn't move. "Now give it to me!"
He demanded, when she held on tightly.
"I am supposed to give it to the blonde one!" She said, "Forbes-Salvatore, the teacher?"
"That's me!" Caroline told her, and she took the paper from her hand. "Thank you." She smiled.
The woman took a knife from her hand and was going to jab it in her throat. Hayley used her vampire speed, and slapped the knife away from her hand.
