章節 59: Desperate Option

Castelia couldn't say but she would love to come with Joshua. It doesn't matter not as a couple, even being an oppressed worker will make her happy. But who they're talking about is Joshua, he's not as easily persuaded as Alvaro would like.

Castelia cleared her throat, calmly explaining, "It's not that I don't want to help but if you know Sir Joshua well enough, you'll understand that he's not easy to persuade." After pouring the batter into the tin and placing it in the oven, Castelia sat across from Alvaro and made eye contact.

For the size of a child, Alvaro looks arrogant as he shrugs nonchalantly. He casually responded, "I don't know him well, so I don't understand." Alvaro firmly said, "If I say I want him to attend, he will."

"I'm happy if Sir Joshua's presence can cheer you up but I can't do anything about it. He never even skipped work, I doubt he'd be here for a birthday party."
