Blood glided off the edge of the blade, through the tip, and down his fingers. "You all must be feeling mighty safe behind those barriers," Dalyor shouted. "Well, feel free to be safe – only for the time I am talking."

"This thing around my neck," he pointed to it, "let me get rid of it first."

Dalyor rolled his fingers and a blob of light came between his fingertips. He carved round and round and turned it into the shape of a key. "Let's see if it fits," he put it inside the hole and turned, and the lock clicked. The contraption fell with a clang.

He rubbed his neck, "that feels so much better." The crowd stood there, dumbfounded and in fear. He looked above and smirked, "you lot haven't seen anyone command the elements without a voice?"

The people looked at each other, sitting on the edge of their seats. Fear danced on their faces, the only thing stopping them from running away: those glass and iron.
