By the time Jay was done with the routine that Alex had set for him for that day, it was already late at night, and he was offered to rest in the base itself. Unable to gather the courage to spend the night with these brutal mutants, he politely declined the offer and headed to his own home to hit the sack no matter how tired he was. He had barely reached the border of the city where the human touch was finally beginning to show when something on the road caught his attention.

He noticed the same car with which Alex had kidnapped him before, speeding on the road. At first, he decided to ignore it and head home as he really couldn't bear to drag his tired body any longer but something in his heart just pushed him to follow the car despite his protesting body.
