The weaver was well aware of the ongoing battle between Santa Claus and the goddess; Soteria. He could see through Frosty's eyes and he also knew that Santa Claus was not up to par with the goddess. She could crush him and save him the trouble of having to do it himself and he did not even have to ask for her help, just like fabled beings, it was in their nature to protect and whenever their charges were being attacked; it was in their nature to protect and save them. The goddess, Soteria was working according to her own path and the fact that it aligned so perfectly with his was of the purest coincidence.
