Fuck! Fuck, Fuck, Fuck! I thought to myself as I ran towards Arianne who was laying down on the ground. Fear gripped me as I ran, the image of her still form haunting my thoughts.

Fuck! I cursed again as I reached her side, Caeden was kneeling beside her, tears streaming down his face as he cried out for his mother to wake up. His small hands were shaking as he gently shook her, begging her to open her eyes. My own heart ached at the sight, the desperation in his voice cutting through me like a knife.

"Mom, wake up, mom, please!" Caeden pleaded but Arianne still didn't stir or bother to open her eyes.
