IVAN POV

I stood at the hallway as I stared at the locked doors where Arianne and Azar were. She was stuck with him and there was just no telling what he was going to do to her. It was obvious that they had been fighting and I was proud for my girl for finally standing up for herself but I still didn't want to leave her alone. So, I stood outside their door for few minutes. When I didn't hear anything that will put her in danger, I decided to leave certain that she was safe. But I still posted two guards at the entrance of the door just in case.

I walked away and headed straight to my study where I met my friends and siblings all gathered, including my mother too.

"How's she?" Tag'arkh asked me immediately I entered.

"Well, she's doing okay, I guess." I muttered as I went to take a seat.
