章節 287: NOTHING ELSE MATTERED

The drive to Nathzia, in the northern side was a long and rocky one. We all decided to attend Rissa's wedding mostly because King Malik was close with Ivan's father and the alliance they both made. Ivan decided to leave the kingdom in the Langmore's care. I was still suspicious about Langmore because of what he pulled at the chamenos lykos ritual. But since Ivan stated it was for him to rule the kingdom in his absence I decided to trust his judgment.

The whole royal family was headed to Nathzia. Everyone seemed happy except for me of course. While I still thought the whole thing was strange everyone seemed happy to be out of the kingdom. I can actually share a little bit of their excitement, with all the gloomy things that has been going on I'll admit that we do need a little bit of cheer in our life. The only thing that could dampen my mood was my mother that was going along with us. The invitation wasn't just sent to me, it was sent to my mother too.
