When I called his name this time, it was a harsh snap.

His arms around me stilled and he pulled away from me, blinking. 

The accusation that slowly seeped into his brown eyes stunned me. 

What was he insinuating?

"What are you doing here?"

I straightened up, giving my plate of food a glance, my body telling the truth I wanted to hide. 

I was a soldier, I could do better than that. 

"You were having a nightmare."

He scoffed. 

"Like I'll believe that. Were you trying to seduce me, Human? You think since I'm an incubus that'll be easy?"

"You were having a nightmare."

Was he deaf or something?

He swung up from bed and before I knew it, he was pulling me into an embrace. 

How did this man's head work? Because it was really starting to stress me out.
