Clover who followed Eliza entering the Base heard what she says. It seemed that the Old Man Frederick was really inside, and it couldn't help his heart to beat wildly. His body was freezing and it made him feel cold to the point his body was shivering.

He couldn't help but stopped in his tracks and hesitated for a moment before he was pushed totally inside by Quinn whose focus was lost because of the excitement of finally entering the Base. It was natural for him to feel that way since only the Hunters could enter that Base.

And as a 16-year-old kid, the curiosity that was slowly building up inside his heart made him feel about to go crazy.

Now that his curiosity was about to be revealed before him, he didn't notice that Clover suddenly froze on his step and it eventually made him push Clover inside.

He froze and couldn't help but think, "I'm doomed".
