"You ready?" Scarlett asked entering the closet where she found Ezra, who just stood in front of the mirror gloomily.

"I can never be ready for this Scarlett." He says buttoning up his shirt.

"Ezra." She sighs, wrapping her arms around him. "Tell me what's going on in your mind?"

"What's the use?" He nonchalantly replied. "You are going to go away anyway."

Scarlett kissed his back, "you were never the one who loses hope so easily."

"It's not the same with you Scarlett. It's like you are looking for excuses to leave me. I want someone who will fight for me too." Ezra says removing himself from her hold.

"That's not true Ezra, I will fight for you, always." Scarlett felt hurt hearing him say that.

Ezra took his suit jacket and tried to put in on with his free hand. Making sure his injured hand don't get strained much. Scarlett immediately hold his injured hand and helped his arm get into the sleeve.
