Scarlett looks at Ezra with wide eyes. Her lips tremble seeing him in pain and confusion and how he wants her to help him. "Mr. Knight, I do not understand…"

"Fuck with the formalities Stella. I'm tired of waiting for you to open up to me. I'm tired of seeing fake smiles thrown at me whenever I'm around. I'm tired of you running away from me whenever we get a little closer." He stood up from his chair and walked close to her, cupping her face in his palms and looking into her eyes, "don't do this to me, I'm going crazy about you woman. It's so hard to control my emotions whenever you are around. I want to change myself for you, I don't want to be the old self which you despise."

"No one despises you Mr. Knight." She says.
