Yuichi eyed the dark hole cautiously, sensing no sign of threat.
With his other free hand he anxiously grasped what was inside.
There was a rectangular object that fit between his thumb and forefinger.
As he took the object, he gasped for breath, while his complexion turned a ghostly shade and his heart felt heavy.
As... expected... my body is still weak...
The spatial rift closed soon after.
Yuichi wailed but that didn't stop his smile of joy.
Meta-Luck's newly released ability allowed him to create a rift in the void itself and grab a random object.
Specifically, objects from outer space that had no owners, objects that he would need or that would have something to do with his near or distant future (it was also possible to steal objects but he wasn't strong enough yet).
It was so dangerous... that small object was too overwhelming a burden on his body.
All objects obtained after using should be useful, right?
Forcing and raising his hand, the object appeared in his field of vision.
