A few nights later, Hisaki spent her time doing what she hadn't finished before; reading the late Mrs. Fujimori's diaries.

From the day she got traumatized by the nightmare of her past, Hisaki had been avoiding them.

But, she shouldn't keep doing that. Her curiosity wouldn't be answered.

Today, Heisuke worked the evening shift that only ended around eleven o'clock. This was the first time ever since he enrolled in the night classes.

The warehouse was busier than ever and an employee was sick. Heisuke had to fill in the spot for tonight.

Sitting alone in the living room, Hisaki had all the diaries next to her. The time had just reached a quarter past eight.

She picked them up from inside the box, leaving the leather-bound one that she had read before. The others were ordinary books in red, white and yellow colors.

"Which one should I start?" mumbled Hisaki to herself.
