'For now let's see what kind of man the Emperor is.'
I waited for about 10 minutes before I finally seen the 4 adventurers again theybhad a dreadful look of anguish on their faces and were very hesitant.
I eyed them as they approached and I could see just behind them stood a tall silver-haired man who had a different air around him than everybody else.
He was dressed in an exquisite black dress shirt with a black and gold robe bearing the royal insignia of a lion on top of a mountain It was laced with bright Diamond like jewels that lined the collar I would say it's definitely befitting of an Emperor.
He had light yellow eyes and a indomitable gaze that resembled a snake and a large red scar on his cheek too which looked like it was definitely painful.
He had a muscular but defined structure that could surely help him in combat against most beings and truly had the presence of a ruler it was safe to say that he's well beyond an average human maybe because of his lineage or due to enhancing the human body somehow.'
He was also taller than the leader of the adventuring group and had a regal aura around him showing that he definitely wasn't an indolent king he's actually quite a monster for a human.
That being said I'm not going to bow down to anybody that is under my status…Its strange but subconsciously ever since I've become a dragon I have more since of dignity and self-respect for myself and will call others out on it if I feel my pride is being challenged.
Just as I was in thought they all came out one after another in a orderly fashion I could feel the tension in the air and in the distance I could see the outline of the 4 adventurers and the large shadow of the Emperor.
Just then I felt the faint Haki and spiritual pressure he was emitting as if he were trying to suppress it but wasn't able to completely erase it due to how powerful it really was.
He has a refined control of his power and looked as if he had been in many battles and overcame them he was clearly at the highest peak a human could reach and the relaxed expression and demeanor he had was quite the spectacle.
'How composed he seems to be, walking without a care in the world about whats really going on and what he's about to witness, I really gave to give him props, this guy's got guts...Though I still feel he's a little too confident… I wonder if he knows something I don't or is he just naive and arrogant.'
From where I was located with my huge Draconic body I could easily see the Royal Castle in the distance there were Four massive, round towers that dwarfed everything below them and are connected by giant, dense walls made of silver stone.
Tall, wide windows are scattered around the walls in fairly symmetrical patterns, along with asymmetric crenelations for archers and artillery and huge gates with great metallic doors and strong defenses guards count as the last stronghold.
It would take deadly or numerous amounts of manpower to conquer it no doubt at least to those that are unfamiliar with the castle and it's surroundings.
Statues of former kings line the outside of the castle gates serving as reminiscence of the past this castle shows no signs of decay even after all this time It shows how much work it must've took to keep it intact for this long and how much care and admiration they have for it.
'I guess I should let off a bit of my Haki', I shouldn't make this more troublesome than it need to be let's get this done quickly so I can be on my way. I also need to make connections so that I can soon meet many new people and hopefully find willing followers, strong subordinates, artillery and resources that will help make my future divine kingdom secure and prosperous.'
"Greetings dragon lord Chaos-dono, I'm the Emperor of The Araezia Empire.
"My name is William Castiel, it's a pleasure to meet you!"
"Yes, I feel the same It's a pleasure."
"May I ask why you've wanted to see me, I was not expecting a guest of your stature to visit me today, so tell me why is that?"
"I've came to ask for your assistance, there's something I need your help with. Don't worry, you would gain to benefit from it."
"Are you serious…what would you possibly need my help with?" Said the emperor with a voice of clear apprehension.
"Well… Let's get to that in a moment." Only adding to the emperor's concerns and fears thinking quick on his toes he decided on trying to obtain any kind of information he could possible get from Chaos.
"Fine I'll listen to what you have to say, but there's another thing I wanted to ask… Why is it that we've not noticed your presence in the sacred forest, I admit it's definitely quite perplexing haha-haha."
"I don't know honestly, but the probability of the adventurers you sent being too weak to even fathom my existence and power is very high so that may be the reason I guess." *Shrug*
"Hmm… I see that's quite bold of you."
"We've had multiple experienced groups of adventurers go on several different assignments coming in and out of the forest and we've never heard any reports stating that you've made it your territory or that you even exist!"
The emperor coughed a few times as if to calm himself down before speaking in a calm serious tone. "Anyways…If so I hope you don't mind me asking i hope you could find somewhere else to reside."
"It's just that I'm afraid you would scare the wild game and wildlife that provides food potions and magical resources for our nation and the great kingdom that lays across the border."
"How presumptuous of you to assume that I've made it my territory.l, I was just merely passing by when I seen these adventurers of yours needing a helping hand so I think it would be wise to show some appreciation and gratitude!"
"Uhm-hum…you're right i suppose, I apologize for not thanking your properly after saving them, you have my sincere gratitude…"
"All is forgiven that being said you guys were in quite the dire situation."
"You had a powerful legion of demons intent on making it here and most likely that planning on destroying the place you better keep a better eye out."
"To be exact one of them demand to be a fully evolved demon peer known as the peak evolution a demon can evolve to as stated they are above arch-demon, they are the true nobles of hell."
"A-A Peer-Demon?!"
"Yes, they are the direct subordinates of the demon lords they could've very well caused your empire trouble you would soon regret understand?"
"No that's impossible … a legendary peer demon coming here makes no sense what could could they be planning?!"
"You don't have to believe it but it did happen nonetheless and that's for you to figure out."
"Oh I forgot but these guys should've told you I am the Heir Of Primordial Dragon Goddess Of Chaos, my name is Krios Chaos Zefnir."
" I've come here because it seems you and your empire must've been chosen by fate itself…"
"Now that you The Emperor of Raezia and these adventurous and subordinates of yours know of my name and existence I think it's time we negotiate let's get to it shall we?",I said with a sinister grin.
