The man gently traced the blood bracelet with his slender fingers, seemingly deep in thought. Summer didn't utter a word, only watching him attentively, absorbed in his handsome face.

After a while, Liam Yancey suddenly encircled his arms around her, pulling her into his embrace. His lips curved into a slight smile, "Close your eyes, and sleep!"

"I don't want to sleep yet," Summer shook her head, still gazing at him, her clear eyes untouched by the world's dust.
