Upon seeing that the Mother-nest truly had no interest in them, the evolved creatures finally let their guard down. They began to ignore the Mother-nest and wander away, while a few decided to settle down on the body of the Mother-nest.
Some parts of the Mother-nest's body had naturally formed caves which provided ideal habitats for the evolved creatures. Some even fought over these desirable living spaces.
Tang Ye, who was on the back of the Mother-nest, found all this amusing. As he shifted his gaze, on the eastern side of the Mother-nest's body, he saw countless tendrils intertwined with one another. Some burrowing into the ground, others wrapping around large, evolved trees.
The Mother-nest's body quivered several times, startling the evolved creatures that had just settled down. They swiftly retreated, growling with cautious alarm at it.
