章節 29: 29. Twenty-four hours.
The next morning came rather earlier than expected. Rory stirred in her sleep. Her brows furrowed and her hand flew to her forehead. She hissed in pain. Why was her head still aching?
Gathering herself, she sat up on the bed and was about to go to take her bath when she remembered she had no lectures today. She sighed in relief and fell back on the bed, covering herself to sleep some more. With her banging headache, she could use more rest.
She pulled the covers over her shoulder and closed her eyes again, relaxing her muscles to sleep some more when suddenly her eyes snapped open. Memories of yesterday flashed in her mind and she quickly sat up.
