At this point, Borbatos couldn't simply watch from the sides. His life was at risk now. One wrong move from the idiot on his side and this meeting could become the trigger of war between the two countries. Naturally, Velisarmo and Borbatos would become the martyrs, men heedlessly slain by the Northern evil, tyrannical and unreasonable. 

He had no clue why the North was so adamant at creating a scene here, which would very likely result in war, but since they were brave enough to do it, it should also mean they were confident enough to see through the mess that was war.

"Stop, you fool!" he hissed in Velisarmo's ears. "Do you realize what you're doing?"

"Don't interrupt me, Baroda! I will not have that rodent insulting me in my house! I demand bloody satisfaction!"
