Since the incident, things changed on the ship for us. The captain appeared cordial on the surface, but his hatred for us was noticeable, to say the least. 

Then there was the issue with food, generally, they would leave the food at our doorstep every day, but since the incident, I went to get the food on my own and faced some weird gazes thrown my way.

I can see what they were thinking. 'How dare he.' Such blatant hatred would generally be met by a proper response from my end. But a dead man can't steer the ship, so it was important for me to hold myself back, for a bit at least.

On the other hand, let's talk about the food itself.

Since the cook was dead, the quality obviously dropped. And with how suspicious I have become since the last incident, I never actually took the precooked meal by them. I just took enough for three people and boiled it in the cabin where I lived with Number Two and Captain. Of which, I ate nothing.
