Lv Ming clutched her hand warmer tight as one of her grandmother's low-level servants ran up to her at the entrance of the banquet hall and escorted her inside.

Her face reddened as the conversation among the other women in the hall stilled. The women stole glances at her and whispered among themselves as she walked passed them.

Lv mind face reddened and she felt like running out of the room. Although none of the women dared laughed at her in her presence, she did not doubt that they did in her absence. 

Most of the women present in this side hall were either members of the Lv family or related to them by marriage. The other guests were all waiting at the main banquet hall for old madam Lv to arrive.

Her leg shook as she met her grandmother's cold expression. Lv Ming stopped a few steps away from her grandmother and bowed respectfully.
