章節 103: First blood

Back at the apartment it was obvious Davi hadn't told anyone where Ivo had been, considering Alina's first words to him were, "Where have you been?"

Ivo answered with a glib, "Around," and walked straight into the bathroom to take a shower.

When the free-trial warning sounded Ivo almost startled. In the time he'd spent with the D'Amicos, and the day showering at Vice's he forgot how jarring the warning could be when he wasn't expecting it.

At least it wasn't a bathtub. He didn't get the point of them. Probably just another piece of lux ostentation. 

When he left the bathroom, wearing a fresh change of clothes, and pushing wet hair away from his forehead the other three were sitting around the living room terminal, apparently in deep discussion.

"What does Juju want us to do?"

"Kill someone," Thiago said, his eyes not drifting away from the terminal that was showing them some 3d plant of a building.
