Ivo hid his amusement behind a neutral expression as he watched Vital and Davi stare each other down.
Vital was the first to back down, breaking into another of his oily grins. He raised his hands. "Hey, I was just being polite."
Davi didn't answer him. Like Ivo, Alina too was enraptured by their posturing, her green optics jumping from one to the other.
"But anyway, I do have a next gig lined up for you guys."
"Any end in sight to them?" Thiago asked, bracing himself over the counter to look Vital in the eye.
"Have you moved your headquarters?"
Alina shook her head.
"Then I guess we'll have to endure each other's company a little while longer."
They were interested in keeping the gigs coming -- for now. But Ivo wondered if it wouldn't really take them moving somewhere else to make them stop. Vital would milk this bargaining chip for all it was worth.
Thiago: kinda think you should have led with that.
