Ivo, slipped his mask off and took a drag of his cigarette. He spun the red pack round between his thumb and index finger, gaze fixed on the blurring gold letters that spelled out 'Comandante' while he thought the question over.

He didn't know how to answer Edu. Was he there because of Davi? Not really, not only, at least.

But he was growing frustrated that whenever it seemed they were getting closer, Davi built a wall between them.

Part of him also resented how it made him feel. A little needy, and a lot helpless. It wasn't his fault he had no memories, nor that he was inside that box instead of whatever fucking tech Vital had paid them to find.

One day he'd had to own up to the fact, that he was maybe, a little bit, attracted to Davi. But today wasn't that day. He didn't want the first thing he learned about himself to be that he had shit taste in men.
