Rosie ran quickly to her brother's arms and hugged him tightly. Aslan looked away. Somehow, he hated it when Rosie hugged Howland tightly, even though the man was the girl's own brother.

"How are you, my cute little sister?" Howland asked, still hugging Rosie tightly.

Rosie didn't want to answer. She had a pleasant day at Aslan's residence until last night the man brought the news that she was going to be betrothed to Prince Nicholas. And all of a sudden, all her happiness turned upside down, and she had a gloomy morning because of it.

Howland grabbed Rosie's shoulders and looked at the clothes his sister was wearing.

"Whose funeral did you come back from?" Howland asked, feeling Rosie's clothes were too dark this morning. Her exposed shoulders also made Howland frown.

"Lily. Duke Aslan's horse."

Howland turned his head toward Aslan. "Lily? the one that i gave you?" he asked frantically.

"Yes, brother but we can talk about it later."
