Aslan nodded and flipped the last page he had read. After the door closed, Aslan let out a long sigh. He felt so tired, even though he did nothing. He closed his eyes to disperse the image of Rosie's lips from his mind.

Aslan hated himself so much right now. He wasn't usually like this. He had only known Rosie for a few days, but the girl had already wandered around the castle like it was her own house, as well as his head. If Aslan had kept his distance from the start, it would have been very easy for him to refuse the princess's help.

He wasn't naïve. He was a grown man who also needed the warmth of a woman, but Aslan always fought that lust. He knew how to make love, although he had never done it. 

Sometimes he heard the vulgar chatter of his knights. So Aslan wasn't completely clueless. The moment he saw Rosie's lips, Aslan knew he wanted to taste them, and it was the dumbest thing he could ever think of.
