Nobody mentioned punishing Heller and me. Dad and Mom didn't seem to care about our willfulness anymore. Although they would still ask us questions about this, they were not angry at all.

After investigating, they discovered that nearly a third of the workers in the garbage disposal plant were members of the Lily of the Valley, or had already been instigated by them. Even I broke out in a cold sweat when I heard this. I wondered if the officials of the Silver Moon Pack had already gone crazy from anxiety.
