章節 32: CHAPTER THIRTY TWO

She brought out the scroll. She didn't look like herself anymore. Yale got down from the table he was on and yanked the scroll out of her hand. She blinked back to reality. He put the scroll in a box and locked it up. He took her hand and they left the apartment. He got behind the steering wheel.

"What happened back there?"

"I don't know. For a moment, it felt like I was out of my body. I just feel really drained right now. Let's head back home"

She said as she leaned in to the car seat. She smiled at him before closing her eyes to sleep. She woke up on her bed. It was morning and her box was packed. She took her bath and walked to the living room. She could sense the uneasiness in the atmosphere. She looked from her aunt to Diane and she could tell that something was wrong

"What's going on?" She asked

"It's Carl. We couldn't find him yesterday and he's not answering his phone" Emily answered 

"Where is Yale?" Bethany asked
