章節 21: CHAPTER TWENTY ONE

The ride home was silent. There was nothing to talk about. They had gone looking for answers and they had found more than they were looking for. On their way back, Emily decided to get lunch for her and the kids so she pulled up in front of a restaurant

"Do you guys want anything?" She asked

"Just chicken and chips. That's good for me" Carl said

"Beth?" Emily asked

"Nothing, I'm good"

She said as she looked out the window. Her aunt knew that she wasn't going to be fine in a while. The truth was maybe to heavy for her to handle. 

"I'd get you a bottle of soda and maybe a donut"

Her aunt said as she left them in the car. Carl looked back to where she was seated

"You okay Beth?"

"I guess so. I don't know how to feel right now. Everybody is dead because of him. Even those that had nothing to do with him had to die just because he wanted to stay in power"
