章節 33: 33 First Round 1
Ojiro and the kid from class B dropped out, saying that it hurts their pride to fight in the next round. Because of that, from the fifth-place team, Testsutestu and Ibarra came as their replacements.
I had a match with Mina from my class. So I looked over at her, and she looked at me and smiled. So I returned a smile to her too.
The rest were the same line-up; there was no difference there at all.
"All right! Before we start the one-on-one fighting tournament, we will have recreational games as an interlude." As he said, most of the students started to do the games where the students of the different classes and courses participate and compete in different recreational activities, such as a scavenger hunt and a ball race, among others.
These activities have no other purpose than to entertain the public and relax the atmosphere before the tournament.
Meanwhile, some of the students who qualified for the finals chose to choose to participate, and others didn't and used the opportunity to prepare themselves for the next event.
As I was moving towards the bathroom, I stopped my Shoto, who, for some reason, is pissed. I can see that from his eyes, Fumikage was also with him, and he was super pissed, and so was a dark shadow. As we were in our starring competition, Shoto spoke first, breaking the silence, "Why?"
"What 'why?'?"
"Why didn't you use your wings when you could have?" Shoto asked.
"Why didn't you use your speed to be first in the preliminary?" His voice started to rise.
"Why on earth didn't you use your strength to be at the top of the Calvary battle?" He was on the verge of screaming this time.
"You said that you were our rival. THEN. WHY. ON. EARTH. WERE. YOU. ACTING. WEAK????" In the last part, he just screamed.
I looked at Fumikage for help but he said, "I'm with him in this case. You gave us advice making us stronger than before, and that talk you gave us in the waiting room about being friendly rivals and all—was that all to just a show? " cough, "Ahem.. " Hearing the cough, we three turned to look at the person and found Touya standing there in his Hero suit.
"I know that I'm not supposed to meddle in this situation, so I'll go." Saying that he was about to leave.
But I stopped him "Touya, you came to say something, right?"
"It's alright, man, that's not important as this is. So after you solve this with them, I'll see you."
"Alright." left, After he left, I looked at my two friends and said, "Let's move to somewhere else."
Nodding at my words, we moved from that area.

Reaching an isolated area, I started to speak, "The reason I didn't use my wings or my feathers is because of the League of Villains."
When they heard that, they were surprised at first, then Shoto asked, first, "What do you mean by that?"
"Shoto, you saw me fighting the Nomu, right?"
"Yes, I did see it."
"Then you should also know what powers I used to subdue it almost instantly."
"You used your feathers as a blade to cut its limbs and stabbed its head and eyes with your claws."

"You were."
"What does this have to do with you not using your power?" Fumikage said frustrated

As I reached the stadium, the matches had started. The first match was Midoriya vs Shinso; knowing what the outcome would be, I left the seats. As I was going to theparticipant'ss waiting room, I saw Momo, so I greeted her with a smile "Hey Momo."
"Haruto, where are you going?"
"To the toilet."
"Okay, so where are the other two?"
"They'll be here in a short while, don't worry."
After saying that to her, I left the area.
As I left, the first match ended with Midoriya winning this one.

As soon as Haruto left the area, Shoto arrived there for his match, as he had to face his classmate in this first fight of his.
As Midnight asked if both of them were ready, Sero and Shoto nodded.
As she got the consent of the two participants, she said, "Start!"
Just after she said that, Shoto spoke to Hanta, "I'm sorry, I'm in a hurry."
Right after he finished his sentence, a huge iceberg was formed around Sero.
Seeing that the audience was dumbfounded as this was the fastest fight that had ever finished in the history of the U.A.
Seeing that Sero is unable to move, Midnight said, "Hanta Sero is unable to move; Shoto Todoroki wins!!"
After confirming he was the winner, Shoto walked towards the iceberg and melted it with his fire. As soon as Sero was freed, Shoto said, "I had to. I'm sorry." Sero just nodded at him and walked to the stands dumbfounded.
The second match of the first round was between Denki from Class 1A and Ibara from Class 1B. Present Mic welcomes both competitors to the stage following the removal of ice from the arena.
The battle begins and Denki asks Ibara if they could go out to eat after the battle. He claims he wants to comfort her after her loss and that their match will be over in seconds. Denki charges his electricity and uses his Indiscriminate Shock 1.3 Million Volts technique. Ibara simply turns her back to Denki and commands her hair to create a shield of vines to protect her from the shock. Denki enters his dumb state and Ibara counterattacks by sending vines at him. The vines wrap Denki up and hang him over the stage, immobilizing him. Midnight declares Ibara the winner.
Then it was the third match of the first round; it was the fight between Iida from Class 1A and Mei from Class 1H.
Present Mic introduces Tenya and Mei to the crowd. Rikido questions Tenya's choice of attire as Tenya equips some of Mei's gadgets. Midnight warns Tenya that Hero course students are not allowed to use support gear without the proper paperwork. Tenya apologizes and explains that Mei offered the equipment to keep the fight fair. He says he wants to honor her integrity and wear the gear. Midnight takes pleasure in his youthful vigor and allows it.
